25 Bible Verses for Men: Strength and Grace
Maybe you came here looking for a verse to share at a men's breakfast.
By Daniel Reeves · Editor, The Bible Well
Maybe you came here looking for a verse to share at a men's breakfast. Maybe you came because you are tired in a way that sleep does not fix, and you are not sure who to tell. Many of us carry a lot in silence. The job, the bills, the people counting on us, and the failures we have never said out loud. These verses are for that man. They begin with the strength God gives, not the strength we pretend to have. Then they walk through courage and integrity, the heart and its temper, temptation, the friends God sends, the rest he offers, and the grace that meets you when you fall. Read one slowly. You were never meant to hold it all together on your own.

02
David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
